We are proud to be bringing to our customers this locally made KL-style Char Siew. To get this product to you as fresh as possible, please bear in mind that it's a made-to-order item only.

This gourmet KL-style Char Siew strips of premium pork belly & leg (another popular product line by ROASTDFUNKD who makes LeeBakwa) that has been marinated for an entire day in herbs & spices with a good splashing of love, then simmered over steeped in its marinade extended with additional fresh flavourings (again no artificial enhancers used) to lock in the umami, and whilst in the oven it’s constantly being basted. Finally finished off 300C grilling & touched up with additional blow-torch at 1900C - achieving those custom dark charred caramelisation bits. It is just a touch sweet coupled with smoky peppery overtones with a tender inner core and those lovely layers of rendered fats for that added umaminess… on warm rice, fusion salads or tossed over angel hair pasta with nutty rocket leaves, etc even in sandwiches… boom! If you’re adventurous, a Wantan Mee dish can recreated! You’ll be fighting for the charred end bits - everyone does! These amazing strips of KL-Style Char-Siew are vacuum-sealed in packs ensuring freshness & with its jus sealed in; they comes with detailed indirect-reheating instructions in its packaging.
